Job Description Talent Support Specialist This position provides the right candidate the opportunity to expand their skill set in the recruitment function. The person in this position will be responsible for supporting a geographically disperse recruitment team in a wide variety of functions. Specifically, this job will involve identifying targeted recruitment options (websites, trade journals, etc.); posting relevant jobs as requested by the talent specialists; conducting database searches for candidates as needed; participating in process improvment projects; and compiling and distributing various recruitment metrics on a regular basis. This person will also serve as a backup to the talent coordinator, which includes scheduling interviews and candidate travel and performing background checks and drug screens. Other miscellaneous duties will be assigned.We require a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or a related field, and a minimum of one year recruitment experience in a high-tech and/or scientific industry. Applicants must have a basic understanding of recruitment functions, including internet search methods. Strong customer orientation and a bias for action are essential. Additionally, we require proficient organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities immediately. Candidates must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills (Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook) are required, and previous experience with a commercial applicant tracking system is preferred.
