Team Leader Health Services

Manage the Occupational Health Office for a large manufacturing facility. Ensures prompt medical treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses according to Nursing Practice Act of NC and the Standards of Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing. Includes development and maintenance of relations with community health care team and others doctors/nurses/pharmacists/therapists/etc). Oversee Work Comp case management, counseling and EAP referrals. Manage in-house worker compensation program. Responsible for accident/incident investigations and related record keeping and management, including information resource systems. Collaborate with HR regarding FMLA, STD, and related return to work issues. Health promotion activities including visual aids, group discussions, health fairs, committee participation/leadership, workshops and seminars, etc. Safety responsibilities include policy development and implementation, especially for issues such as Hearing Conservation, Safety Glasses, Prevention, etc. Achieve plant-wide Key Concepts Safety Program and SHARP objectives and goals.
