Kodak Color Media Finishing organization is looking for a process technician to join the organization utilizing strong technical skills, to drive significant improvements. The primary emphasis is to provide technical, mechanical support, sustaining and improving manufacturing processes within Color Media Finishing. The candidate must be able to effectively trouble shoot product and process problems on the production lines as well as providing and updating preventive maintenance documents and standard work instructions. Delivery of new ideas and concepts is a key part of expectations for this position. The technician will have complete responsibility for specific production equipment. This position plans and performs special work of substantial variety and complexity. Key areas of focus are to be on waste reduction, equipment performance, with emphasis on Mean Time Between Failure and Mean Time to Repair. Required Skills Strong Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic skills Able to diagnose equipment problems quickly Lead Analytical Trouble Shooting Sessions Work in Team and Individual situations Self motivated with results oriented Flexibility towards work hours (on-call & weekends) Has technical writing skills Maintain equipment reliability databases Trainer to skilled trade mechanics PLC troubleshooting skills Develop new procedures Analyze, test, and design data Develop and prepare schematics CAD drawing and Visio experience desired Process safety practices and LOTO familiarity QUALIFICATIONS: Electrical background, 12V – 480V PLC programming skills on Allen Bradley and Modicon systems Knowledge of Panelview and other HMI experience Knowledge of slitting, conveyance, and packaging equipment Knowledge of engineering and process change management practices Knowledge of SAP Knowledge of AC/DC drives Machine Shop, fabrication skills Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project
