Milton CAT, a global player in Construction Machinery, is one of the largest Caterpillar Dealers in the United States, with a company history dating back to 1940.  Headquartered in Milford MA, the company maintains 15 offices throughout New England and upstate, NY.

 

Candidate will be based in Milford, at Corporate Headquarters, and work with the IS team to support a 1000+ user, Windows 2003, WAN environment. The major responsibilities will include:

 

1.  Assist in supporting the corporate Microsoft infrastructure including Windows 2003 active directory and Exchange.

 

2.  Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support.

 

3.  Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

 

4.  Support IP telephony/data systems.

 

5.  Support the LAN and WAN infrastructure.

 

6.  Support wireless technology and hardware.

 

7.  Work with vendors during troubleshooting process.

 

8.  Personal computer configurations and builds.

 

 

The minimum requirement for the position is an Associate Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and two years of experience supporting a Microsoft Windows networking environment.  Some traveling will be required.
