Technical Designer-Drafter

Pacific Aluminum specializes in the manufacturing and installation of architectural, aluminum & glass glazing systems for the commercial and high-end residential markets.

 

We are seeking an individual to help develop new & existing glazing system designs and to generate the required documentation and drawing sets to accurately convey the design intent, insuring accurate manufacturing and installation.  This position requires regular and close communication to insure the design effort is coordinated and accurately tracked with our Clients and our internal departments, including; Sales, Manufacturing, Project Management and Installation.

 

Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, have an aptitude for analytical thinking and 3+ years experience using AutoCad.  Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform basic algebra and trigonometry calculations are also required.  Previous experience with aluminum fenestration (window, door, & glazing) and architectural detailing is preferred.
