Technical Parts Advisor

Atlas Machine and Supply, a 100-year industrial sales and service company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Parts Advisor.  Position requirements include the ability to develop customer inquiries into quotations, process orders and keep customers informed as to the status of their orders.  Must be able to respond to customer requests for information and to supply technical information to customers regarding industrial air products.  Two years of Inside Sales/Customer Service experience is required.  Knowledge of industrial air compressors and pumps is a plus.  High School graduate or equivalent is required, a college degree in Business or other related discipline is a plus.  Must be computer literate.  Additional position responsible include:Must be able to supply technical information to customers regarding parts for pumps and industrial air products. The selected candidate will use their electronic experience, knowledge base and our technical library, as well as network with peers and other departments to find answers. Answer incoming phone calls in a call center environment; generate quotes and input sales orders received into computer system. Monitor open orders and prepare pick ticket when orders are complete. Notify customers of order date changes.
