Technical Publications Supervisor - ESG

We are currently seeking a Technical Publications Supervisor - ESG.

Primary Function

Supervises the creation and maintenance of all operator, parts and service manuals for ESG products used by dealer technicians and end user customers. Assures the accuracy of technical information and timely release all ESG technical publications.

Essential Duties/Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Technical Publications Management
• Supervises the creation and update of all ESG operator, parts, and service manuals.
• Creates and manages annual publication release and update schedule.
• Assures that technical information from manufacturing, purchasing and engineering is analyzed, documented, and translated into Technical Publications.
• Assures all ESG operator, parts, and service manuals are updated yearly.
• Supervises the outsourcing of graphics and artwork for use in ESG technical publications.
• Supervises the creation and timely distribution of Service Bulletins and Tech Tips for use by ESG dealers and customers.
• Assures technical publications are available to ESG dealers and customers before a new product launch.
• Assures the most up to date technical publications revisions are maintained on the ESG Dealer website for use by ESG dealers.

2. Technical Training
• Works with CBT training supervisor to provide technical information necessary to prepare competency based training curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and/or Experience):

• College degree preferred.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Excellent product technical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge and use of the following PC applications including: Adobe Creative Suite to include In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator and FrameMaker. Knowledge of Quark is also a plus.
• A minimum of five years of vehicle product experience, vehicle repair, technical publications or related technologies.
• Demonstrated performance in the area of Technical Publications Management.
• Other education and experience in service, engineering, or maintenance related fields may be considered in place of the above requirements.
• Ability to operate various office equipment including but not limited to computer, computer projector, digital camera.
