Technical Sales & Service Center Manager

Position Summary: Manages and directs the entire office including the execution of plans and initiatives for a remote technical sales & service center of a global machine tool manufacturer.

 

Role Priorities:

1. Manage entire tech center

2. Strategic Planning of Technical Center region’s sales & service

3. Sales Growth of Technical Center

4. Customer Service for Technical Center region



Position Responsibilities:

ü  Maximizing the sales of the company’s products, shipments, and services from the location.

ü  Must establish & deliver sales targets to meet company objectives.

ü  Partner with management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to our customers.

ü  Sets budgets and targets for this region including monthly reports to home office the budget versus actual results.

ü  Liaison with home office management and staff.

ü  Maintain facility and demo floor appearance.

ü  Routinely perform demonstrations, open houses, training, and technical seminars.

ü  Maintain proper inventory levels.

ü  Identify new business opportunities and implement approved distribution strategies.

ü  Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.

ü  Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with Marketing Manager.

ü  Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.

ü  Recruiting, training and supervising sales and service staff capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.

ü  Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

ü  Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing or related experience.

ü  A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

ü  The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

ü  Responsible for supervising, motivating, and motivating team performance.

ü  Sales and service systems development and deployment.

ü  Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.

ü  Employee training and development.

ü  Strong customer orientation.

ü  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.

ü  High performance teams and a strong team player.

ü  Commitment to company values.

ü  Sales management within a CNC manufacturing environment.
