Pulsafeeder, Inc., a manufacturing unit of IDEX Corp (NYSE: IEX) located in Punta Gorda, FL seeks a Technical Service Specialist to join its team. We are a world-class organization practicing the techniques of Six Sigma and Process Improvement.

 

Primary Function:

 

The Technical Service Specialist provides phone support to our customers regarding the application of new and existing pump and control product offerings. The Specialist also researches, collects, and reports on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Responsibilities further include providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force, and acting as technical liaison to the sales team.

 

Education and Experience Requirements

 An Associates Degree with coursework in Engineering (or a related discipline) or a 2-year Electronics Degree and 2+ years related experience.2+ years experience in either Water Conditioning or Water Treatment industry.Phone support experience.Excellent technical communication skills (verbal and written).Customer focusedAbility to provide technical support to sales, marketing and customer service departments.Ability to occasionally travel to customers or vendors when necessary.Proficiency with computers and software (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Self-motivated, results-oriented, high energy-level.Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
