We offer a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry.  We are currently looking to add a Technical Writer to our Milwaukee Headquarters.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support all technical assignments for the P&H Life Cycle Management team, interfacing with Service, Peak Services and Reliability Engineering for communication of problems and resolutions and the dissemination of information to MinePro regional LCM / MARC contract groups.

· Read Engineering Release Notifications and Drawings to determine the effectiveness of changes.

· Set up marked up drawings and sketches of illustrations for our artist.

· Contact vendors to obtain parts information, drawings and bills of material that can be developed into parts manual pages.

· Create parts listing files, linked to illustrations; organize files that relate to a serial numbered machine and publish as a parts manual.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proficient in Microsoft Windows.

· Experience with a variety of electronic publishing methods for creation of parts manuals for heavy equipment.

· General mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic aptitude including reading engineering drawings.

· Experience with multi-level structured bills of materials.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

DESIRED:

· Experience working with LinkOne, Microsoft Office and/or SAP.
