Telecommunications Billing Analyst

Dallas based manufacturing company is looking for the right individual for an experienced telecommunications billing analyst to review, support and coordinate local, long distance, data and cellular services with wireline and wireless providers. The position requires strong communications skills to effectively provide customer support to all levels of employees and interact with carriers and the Atrium enterprise as a whole. Responsibilities include analyzing, verifying, and coordinating install, continuation, or disconnect of telecommunications services.
Duties will include the following:Review all wireline and wireless telecommunication invoices for completeness and accuracy to identify incorrect charges and/or accounts, arrange for credit as appropriate, perform audits, verify need for services, and submit invoices to accounting for payment and/or accruals.* Coordinate with carrier(s) to ensure addition/deletion of lines and services are performed in a timely manner. Proactively communicate with the status of orders and set proper expectations for work completion.* Manages work orders and break/fix issues as they move through the vendors systems to ensure that all of the mutually agreed to SLAs are upheld. Ensure that processes and procedures are followed when placing orders and upgrading equipment. Supervises vendors and service providers in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of Atrium enterprise telecommunication needs associated with local, long distance, data and cellular accounts. This position must maintain Atrium Companies, Inc. telephony inventory to ensure the proper tracking, reporting and compliance of enterprise assets. Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service support across the enterprise. This position provides direct end-user support as needed to assist users with wireless devices. These activities are critical to enabling our employees to remain operational in our technology environment. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years in the telecommunications field with a strong understanding of the industry. Excellent end-user interface and interaction skills Strong, up-to-date, technology skills in a variety of technologies Good to excellent people management skills Very good organization skills to manage numerous details and functions related to telephony adds, moves and changes. Excellent written and verbal communications Ability to work well in a somewhat changeling and driven environment Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
Technical Knowledge/ Skills:Minimum of 5 years solid experience in Telecommunications Industry. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Access Required, Visio a Plus Knowledge and understanding of Local and Long Distance voice services required to analyze enterprise needs and order moves, adds, changes and deletes appropriately with vendors. Knowledge of a variety of wireless devices (ie. basic wireless telephone, Blackberry and wireless PDA) needed to ensure proper deployment, training and use by the enterprise workforce. Demonstrated ability to read and understand telecommunications invoice structure as presented from the vendor. Ability to organize workflow and action plans. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to understand, work with and satisfy client/user needs.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/carry materials, move about the office, turn on and operate wireline and wireless devices in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. Subject to long, irregular hours, and 24-hour on-call availability. Required to crawl under desks, and other tight places to connect network cable and power connections.
