Job Description Test Technician Job Title:  Test Technician Reports To:  Manufacturing Manager Group/Division:  ATG /  Scientific Instruments Division Career Band:  Associate, Band II Location:  Madison, WI No. of Direct Reports:  None Day/Shift:  Standard Business Hours FLSA Status:  Non-ExemptPosition Summary: We currently have an opening in our Madison, Wisconsin facility for a Test Technician. The Test Technician will test and certify assemblies to meet quality standards; troubleshoot assemblies; process repairs or assemblies within a specified time period; perform transactions on corporate computer inventory control systems and prepare tested assemblies for customers.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Two year Technical degree in electronics is required and 2-3 years of in-house experience or equivalent outside experience.  Experience working in a work cellular environment preferred.  Experience working in a lean environment preferred.  Good written and communication skills are required.Thermo Fisher Scientific offers competitive compensation and benefits including an on-site fitness center.   Education: AssociateJob Level: Experienced
