Tool Room Supervisor

Jacobson Mfg, LLC, is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, proprietary fasteners and fastener installation systems.  Jacobson is currently seeking a Tool Room Supervisor for its Medina, Ohio operations.  The Tool Room Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the various tooling functions within the Tool Room and Tool Crib Departments; utilizing lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve Tool Room performance; managing machine repair, preventative maintenance and production support.

 

The successful candidate will have:

- A minimum of ten years of machining experience with apprenticeship training, including 2-5 years of supervisory experience

- Previous experience in the metal forming industry.

- Strong computer skills including all Microsoft applications

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Demonstrated commitment to employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement.
