EOE M/F/D/V We are currently seeking a Trailer Market Administrative Support to join our Grand Rapids, MI service center. The qualified individual will be responsible for: Materials Management: Complete responsibility for management of inventory investment to support national contracts at Universal Trailer Corp (UTC) and Pace American as well as the coordination of inventory to support various local/branch requirements within the parameters of negotiated annual vendor contracts. Aluminum: coordination of monthly branch forecasts, usage history and on-hand inventory levels to develop inbound schedule of materials from contracted vendors (Aleris and Alcoa). Monthly requirements as follows: 8 Week View-Provide volume commitment for substrate specifying total gauge and width requirements for all locations. 4 Week View-Provide specific release detail/POs to vendors by volume, color, gauge and width for each branch. Daily Activities-additional coordination of mill expedites, branch transfers and assorted problem resolution. Carbon Tube - coordination of monthly branch forecasts, usage history and on-hand inventory levels to develop inbound schedule of materials from contracted vendors (Prolamsa, Southland Tube and Bull Moose). Within this product line it is essential that the individual develop and understanding of each mill's schedule of production campaigns and coordinate order place accordingly. Miscellaneous Inventory-coordination of branch requirements for miscellaneous inventory requirements such as Camouflage Laminate, roof coil, etc. Materials Management Reporting-generate various reports which support the Market Director's coordination of various vendor management initiatives. Customer Reporting-complete responsibility for the coordination and communication of customer required reporting including, but not limited to the following: Monthly Price Schedules Monthly and YTD demand and quality levels Weekly and/or Monthly inventory levels. General Administrative: miscellaneous responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following: Credit challenges and communication Maintenance of distribution lists Coordination and control of master color standards Coordination and control of assorted market support initiatives such as color samples, touch-up paints, etc. Requirements: At least 3 years of contract and/or inventory management experience Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills SAP experience highly preferred.
