Training Assistant

This individual will be involved in providing on-the-job training to manufacturing personnel.20% of the time will be spent in support of the 2nd shift work force. This Assistant will also assist in handling and organizing implemented comprehensive training plans/programs within department. In addition, he/she will assist with implentation and training of newly revised procedures. All training plans/programs must comply with FDA, Quality and internal procedures. Specific duties include:(1) Training Records: Maintain training records; maintain history of training on database; schedule employees for training courses; and track completion of training.Assist with maintenance of Master Training Plans and provide administrative support.QualificationsThe successful candidate is required to have a high school diploma or GED and have a basic knowledge of FDA regulations and quality standards. Familiarity with the Abbott Point of Care Document Management System is a plus. Strong organization and follow-up skills are essential. Good communication skills and prior experience in word processing and spreadsheet software is necessary. Experience in health care manufacturing with exposure to compliance with an understanding of regulations is a plus. Ability to set up and/or maintain a filing system is required.
