Training Specialist

Corporate Headquarters has an outstanding opportunity for a career-oriented individual interested in employee training and development.

 

The Corporate Training Specialist will be responsible for implementing employee development and training programs. This position will work with the Corporate Training Manager to execute training plans and programs, including the programs needed to support technology implementations and business process changes.  This individual will be responsible for performing leader-led, web-based and structured on-the-job training during system implementations, for functional, job-specific training and for other training initiatives as identified by the Training Manager.  The Training Specialist will also assist in leading trainers and subject matter experts/line of business experts during the training program implementation and training support phase of a company-wide system implementation.  Other duties will include development of training materials and tools to support these training implementations.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 

·         High energy and drive, strong leadership skills, excellent business and data analysis skills.

·         Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

·         Strong computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);

·         Creativity and the ability to help drive organizational change.   

·         Previous experience with training and preparing organizations for new system implementations is a plus.  

 

The position will require 60-75% business travel via automobile or air.
