Training and Staffing Manager (but seek a GENERALIST!)

My Client, located in NW Georgia (NOT commutable from Atlanta) has experience strong growth and this plant is now over 1000 employees (non union) from about 700 a year ago.  This position reports to the top HR person at the facility.  Ideally we are seeking 10+ years of generalist HR experience within Manufacturing.  This is really a generalist position with an emphasis on staffing and training.



Administer programs, policies, procedures and controls regarding employment and member relations activities.

Analyzes staffing, turnover and other member statistics . Develops/Leads initiatives to drive improve
organizational performance and member satisfaction.

Directs wide array of employment activities to ensure that top talent is recruited, selected, developed and retained for the location.

Develops and drives member development, succession planning, and training program activities.

Administers location wage/salary and benefit programs.

Ensures effective performance management systems and processes are utilized to drive improved
performance at location and member levels.

Responsible to identify and drive significant process improvements to enhance delivery of human
resource management and support to the location and our team.

Assist in the development of individual development/action plans to increase bench strength and performance of HR staff.

Represents the organization before community groups, professional societies and other organizations.

Administrate, selection, and/or presentation of new member orientation/on-boarding programs, training,
and diversity programs.

Establish and maintain exceptional relationships at all levels of the organization and in the community.

Ensure adherence to dept/facility/org. policies and the execution of HR programs and strategies
