Treasury Analyst

Job Description:

 

Responsible for daily cash management and associated monthly close activities for large US plant of multinational corporation.

• Set daily cash position using treasury workstation, internet banking software, and excel spreadsheets.

• Perform timely payments by wire and ACH.

• Maintain and analyze balances for multiple bank accounts.

• Complete monthy cash close accurately and timely.

• Assist in providing and analyzing detailed cash forecasts.

• Interact with banking community and overseas corporate treasury department.

• Take active role in special projects within treasury.

 

Experience Requirements

 

Minimum/Basic Requirements:

0-3 years of job related experience in finance or accounting for a mid to large-sized company

 

Preferred Requirements:

- 3-5 years of varied finance or accounting experience for a large manufacturer

- Knowledge of corporate cash management and banking environment

- Critical thinking, problem solving and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously 

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and JPMorgan Access

 

 

Education Requirements

 

Minimum/Basic Requirements:

B.S. Degree with Major in Finance, Accounting or related field

 

Preferred Requirements:

MBA with Major in Finance, Accounting or related field  - Professional Certification
