Truck Loader - Southland Log Homes

Southland Log Homes, the nation’s largest log home producer and industry leader, is currently seeking a Truck Loader for our Irmo, SC mill and warehouse operations.

 

The successful candidate will provide loading services in our lumberyard.  This includes transporting materials from the warehouse to the trucks for loading, ensuring accuracy in the materials loaded, and ensuring the safety of the load.

 

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

v Experienced forklift operator loading flat deck trailers

v Available to work overtime with short or no notice

v Experienced or capable of learning to drive truck for spotting trailers

v Detailed oriented

v Ability to work outside under all weather conditions

v Ability to work independently from others yet be a team player

v Good math and problem solving skills

Southland provides a wonderful work environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am – 11am.  Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
