Truck Maintenance Specialist

PacLease has an immediate opening for a Vehicle Maintenace Specialist in Texas. This position will:

Provide Maintenance Department support to include administration, research and troubleshooting.  Work with franchises, OCI locations, and company employees on maintenance related activities with a focus on customer service and process efficiencies.  Assist the OCI locations with issues relating to the spec’ing, maintenance, and disposal of trucks in the PacLease fleet. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Administer the repair authorization and the issuing of purchase orders to approved dealers/vendors and update purchase order log.

• Prepare month end accrual reports.

• Negotiate labor and parts pricing with independent service providers.

• Assist warranty administrator with parts return and information requests from vendors

• Review invoices for billing accuracy, warranty, and rebills to customer. Match invoice with purchase order and system code repairs to process for payment.

• Evaluate and process credit memo requests.

• Administer preventative maintenance program and update unit information. Generate weekly PM reports and email to respective locations.

• Assist Lease Sales with technical and mechanical information regarding maintenance on vehicles.

• Monitor Reciprocal Service Information, to include Reciprocal Service Refusals, breakdown monitoring, and monthly reporting.

• Management projects as requested.

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Microsoft Office applications proficiency.

· 2+ years heavy truck experience including knowledge of truck components/maintenance concepts desired.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Customer service orientation.

· Organization skills; attention to details; strong follow-through.

· Self starter.





 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Two to three years administrative support experience.

· Mechanical aptitude.

· Degree in engineering, business or other appropriate field preferred.
