Utility Worker

Description Under minimum supervision, prepares and preps molds prior to material fill, operates extrusion machine(s) and assembles and palletizes product. Duties and Responsibilities: Reads work order or follows verbal instructions in the movement of materials. Cleans, calibrates, and connects resin to initial start-up of new production runs or whenever a material change or addition is made Removes finished goods from work area and places on proper banding and/or wrapping equipment and prepares for shipping Removes non conforming good(s) from work area Collects samples for submission to Quality Assurance for testing Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Counts, weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled Utilizes power industrial tools in the execution of assembly duties Maintains flow of raw material as to not impede production Maintains proper documentation of raw material mix on a daily basis Utilizing an overhead crane in manufacturing and assembly areas Moving all materials to and from the production line and through finish assembly Staging of raw materials Assembly of finished goods utilizing the proper tools and hardware Checking material specifications Raw material counts Communicate material blends/ requirements between shifts Requirements: High school diploma/ GED preferred Basic math aptitude Good organization skills Ability to communicate well with coworkers and customers, both internal and external Ability to work in a team environment and adhere to company policies and procedures Ability to lift 50 pounds. ______________________________________________________ Need flexibility in your work schedule?
