VP Operations

Job Description:
VP of Operations for manufacturing company located in the Buffalo Niagara Area.  Position will oversee day to day operations in the areas of manufacturing as well as marketing and finance.  Position will report to president of the company.

Duties:

Produces products that meet customer expectations by formulating, installing, and enforcing good manufacturing practices; developing and improving production and engineering processes, procedures, methods, and techniques; enhancing the application of staff; designing production planning and control systems and procedures; developing and enforcing inspection and quality assurance standards, procedures, and methods.

Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

Maintains manufacturing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities

Achieves financial objectives by establishing objectives; developing budgets; controlling costs; maximizing use of assets.


Requirements:

Ability to manage manufacturing business unit.
Experience with management of large team
Familiarity with profit and loss of a business unit
Ability to grow customer base as well as service existing customers
