Van Sales Representative

Summary (Purpose), Nature, and Scope of Position:   The Van Sales Representative is responsible for developing and establishing sales relationships with value added retailers of Cooper Tools, Inc. across the 48 States.  The VSR is accountable for meeting sales targets and will travel throughout the assigned territory to develop business.    Principal Accountabilities   · Responsible for placing joint calls (5-8/day) with distributor sales reps. · Call on traditional hardware stores, lumber yards & home centers · Sell program and implement schedule put together by Cooper District Sales Managers and National Account Managers. · Write program reports · Merchandise, stock and maintain Sales Van.   Education, Experience, Skills and Training Required:   A four year BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.  Must be available for 100% travel.  Strong written and verbal, good presentation and computer skills, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
