Symrise, “where Science and Sensation meet”, is the world's 4th largest manufacturer of flavors, fragrances and cosmetic & aroma ingredients.  We currently have an outstanding career opportunity in Teterboro, NJ for a Customer Consultant/Sales Rep to develop the US alcohol-free beverage industry for Velcorin® (cold sterilization of alcohol free beverages).

You will strive to achieve sales targets, act as a customer consultant on technical and commercial issues, support sample test fillings/laboratory tests with Velcorin®, oversee the technical examination process and prepare market data and budgets.

Candidate must be willing to travel domestically up to 80% with initial 4-6 week training program conducted in Germany.

We require 3 years’ experience in the beverage industry along with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Science (with a concentration in beverages) or experience as a Food Technologist or Master Brewer. Additional requirements include knowledge of business economics and commercial awareness, exceptional planning, time management and organizational skills; ability to prepare market data, sales budgets & forecasts and MS Office proficiency. Strong customer focus and superior communication/leadership skills are a must!!!
