Vertical Marketing Manager

The primary function of the Vertical Market Manager is responsiblity for creating and implementing programs for an assigned vertical market. This role will work closely with sales and product management in developing and leading a marketing strategy for the designated market segment. The will include quantifying market opportunities, formulation strategies and devising tactics for attacking market opportunities. Principal Accountabilities: Develop and present strategic marketing plan to senior management. This plan will include a market analysis, a divisional analysis, resource planning, value proposition and metrics. Create industry solution-oriented marketing advertisement/brochures. Determine most effective advertising medium to reach the target audience. Select trade shows and coordinate cross-divisional participation. Attend and support selected events. Grow division sales year over year. Identify products and/or service offerings for targeted customers within the vertical market to address gaps. Analyze and compare competitor proud and service offerings. Remain up to date on industry codes and standards as they apply to products offered and vertical market served. Make presentations to top customer within the specified industries. Job Requirements: BA or BS in business, marketing or engineering, MBA preferred 5-7 years market management experience Knowledge of designated vertical market products and industry Excellent communication skills: presentation, written and oral Excellent analytical capabilities, and strong computer skills and technology aptitude.
