Vice President Marketing Communications Beachwood, OH 44122 The Vice President Marketing Communications is responsible for the planning and execution of the Division’s marketing communications initiatives in support of the business strategy, market goals and organizational objectives.  Duties/Responsibilities:Provide leadership in the strategic development and implementation of Division marketing communication plans  across all markets and audiences Provide leadership in the development of the Division Brand Strategy Define and direct the execution of external marketing communications tactics to support the brand strategy, including collateral, advertising, video/CD/PowerPoint presentations, Web marketing, direct marketing, trade shows, promotions and public relations Manage the daily activities of the marketing department, including budgets, staff assignments and internal processes to drive program implementation Manage vendors engaged in department activities, including advertising agencies,graphic designers, writers, printers, fulfillment companies and Web developers Define and direct the execution of internal communications initiatives to support Division objectives, including employee newsletters, meetings and intranet development Direct the development of the Division’s Web site strategy to further business objectives and provide competitive advantage Define program metrics and return on investment goals in support of Division growth objectives.  Develop specific performance standards for the marketing department in such key result areas as markets, utilization and development of people/assets, operating efficiency, innovations and product line/customer profitability Monitor market trends, opportunities and competitive activities to provide develop effective marketing communications strategies Collaborate with Product Management on new product introductions to all audiences Collaborate with Sales Management to develop effective regional marketing communications programs Must work closely with the Group VPs on customer issues and strategies Build strong multilevel relationships at all levels with internal departments and major customer accounts in order to promote the sale of products based on quality and service to the customer rather than price Coordinate all efforts to ensure that the needs of customers are being met while new business opportunities are being aggressively pursued Provide counsel and specific market intelligence to the Ops team on the basis of cost analysis, personal knowledge of the industry and current economic conditions that may impact forecasted sales results Assist Ops group in the definition of strategies and tactics to maintain and increase market share; develop and maintain a system to monitor the activities of all important customers Qualifications:15 years of business-to-business marketing communications management experience, preferably in corporate marketing and communications MBA or Masters in Public Relations/Communications or related field preferred Building products or construction management industry experience a plus Demonstrated brand management experience in highly competitive environment Demonstrated track record of meeting business performance goals through the development of marketing communications plans Demonstrated ability to lead high performance teams in fast paced business environment Customer focus is critical and the ability to establish and maintain customer relationships is key to the success of this individual Creative problem-solver Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills  Experience with customer relationship management programs SAP and BW (Business Warehouse) experience preferred  Click here to apply online
