Vice President of Sales
We are a small and very rapidly growing international construction equipment manufacturer and are currently seeking an outstanding and highly experienced Vice President of Sales. We are looking for just the right person who knows how to design, build and lead a driven, fully committed, high performance, and growth oriented sales team from the ground up!
This is an exciting “roll up your sleeves” opportunity. This is your chance to independently design/build an unrivaled sales organization. We have created the entrepreneurial growth engine, now we need a key sales player to provide the structure and focus. As a natural-born achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will love this opportunity to apply all of your talent while working in a fun and caring environment.
First, you will utilize your vast experience, exceptional vision, honed organizational skills, and developed imagination to both design the archetype and to create the blueprint. This includes developing and documenting the sales process, defining channels, creating an unrivaled value proposition, all while testing, measuring, and refining the approach.
Next, you will leverage your keen eye for talent and unrelenting determination to recruit and train the right people to help deliver the vision and develop customers and dealers around the world.
Finally, you will fully engage your natural leadership talent combined with your consistent, systematic, and measured (empirical) approach to help us become the number one provider of our products on the globe.
This position requires absolutely superior planning, communication, leadership, and organizational skills. You must be extremely savvy, systematic, resourceful, determined, and flexible. You must possess not only the innate talent but the bountiful fortitude required to achieve what few do. This is definitely a strategic and tactical opportunity, so you must not be afraid to “get your hands dirty”.
An established history of demonstrated sales management and leadership achievement in a growth environment is required. An MBA, Master’s of Marketing, or equivalent degree in a related field and a minimum of 10+ years experience in sales management is preferred. Outstanding skills in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Web-based applications) and ERP are essential.
