Voice/Data Specialist

CTG is looking for an experienced Voice/Data Engineer with CIPT Certification for one of their Corning, New York clients. This position is available on a W-2 only; No 1099 or Corp to Corp.  Please confirm in your cover e-mail that you will work on a W-2 basisQualifications Required Skills  Cisco CIPT certification  Large Call Manager installation  Unity voicemail and Octel Serenade Messaging installation and maintenance  Technical experience in a large, diverse corporate environment  Experience with Legacy PBX installation and maintenance (Avaya or Siemens) Experience with Avaya and Cisco script writing for ACD Desired Skills Consulting Skills Client Satisfaction Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Good documentation skills Education: CIPT Certification Experience: 2-3 years Responsibilities Day to Day Responsibilities: Responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, optimization and maintenance of Cisco IP Telephony and Legacy PBX (either Avaya or Siemens) systems throughout the corporate enterprise. Deployment and support of IP Telephony infrastructure and applications, which include Cisco IP Contact Center, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity messaging and Cisco IPT end-points. Participate as part of team responsible for project planning and upgrades to network infrastructure and IP Telephony systems. Maintain and update Cisco IPT and Legacy PBX support documentation.  Audit telephony systems for security and standards compliance.  Provide user support and communicate with vendor support personnel.  Travel occasionally required supporting a variety of corporate locations including  international destinations.
