Warehouse Computer Technician

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Assist in Production operations, by registering, testing, and diagnosing product

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job

1. Register, test and diagnose computer equipment by manufacturer, model and serial number
2. Load software to perform data security
3. Ensure quantity of throughput, quality, and accuracy meet Redemtech standards and the
needs of the customer
4. Support safety and loss prevention program
5. Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The knowledge, skills, and abilities listed are representative of those required to perform the
essential functions of this job.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Computer
literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. A+ certification or ability to obtain
within one year. (Preferred: Previous experience in a production environment.)

Communication and Interaction: Ability to talk and hear. Ability to read and interpret documents
such as procedure manuals, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate information verbally in one-
on-one and small group situations, in a professional manner. Ability to work independently as
well as part of a team environment.

Reasoning and Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form. Ability to
solve problems and adapt to change.

 

Physical: Ability to regularly stand at least eight hours per day. Ability to reach and to grasp or
handle objects, tools or controls. Ability to frequently walk, stoop or kneel and to occasionally
climb stairs or ladders. Ability to work schedules that include all hours of operation and other
hours as needed. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Ability to adjust focus.
Color vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, and close vision to read bar codes, manuals, etc.
Ability to work in conditions typical of a fast-paced high technology warehouse environment,
including moderate noise levels and variable temperatures.
