Warehouse Material Handler

This position is responsible for moving finished goods and raw materials within the warehouse, including receiving and unloading trucks, preparing product for shipment and loading trucks and staging raw materials and finished goods.  Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to preparing finished goods for shipment, including the verification of quantity staged, when required, stretch wrap pallets and identify them with the appropriate markings, unload trucks, verify integrity of materials and verify counts of material received. Position requires a trained and licensed forklift operator for material handling in a safe and efficient manner.

 

Job Requirements

 

Must have high school degree, or equivalent. Certified forklift operator a plus, or be willing to train for certification.  Minimum one-year experience in a warehouse environment with good math aptitude, attention to detail and follow through, and a "can do" attitude is required. Must be able to life 50 pound and be familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) that deal with Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping.
