Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Peapod is an interactive, online grocery shopping/delivery service. We currently seek a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Lake Zurich, IL Distribution Center.

Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Full-time, 3rd shift
Weekends a must!
Work schedule: weekends and three days during the week from 10pm-7am
Salaried position

Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of our 3rd shift team through supervising staff
• Must be comfortable supervising 18-25 employees
• Identify and address critical issues within the shift
• Prudently interview applicants for the fulfillment department
• Work with Peapod personnel to ensure communication between departments
• Handle administrative duties in a prompt and efficient manner
• Train and develop our staff
• Basic PC skills (Word and Excel)
• Understanding of WMS (warehouse management system) programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Drive high productivity and accuracy
• Must be able to multi-task
• Flexibility in work schedule based on volume and trends
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong leadership skills
• A desire to help Peapod continue to grow and improve!
