Providing temperature-controlled environments for food and other perishables are essential in today’s global market. Through our Climate Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration market.





We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Person at our Wichita, KS location.



This position encompasses the following :

Support the management and execution of day-to-day Branch Procurement and Inventory Management duties and responsibilities. Accountable for branch parts replenishment, inventory and warehouse functions.

Maintenance of procurement and inventory management policy, procedures, and operating guidelines.
Provide periodic updates to performance metrics for replenishment and inventory management activities.
Assist with creation of purchase orders for parts and other branch services, as required.
Support technicians and customers to ensure adequate parts support for service and installation operations.
Support efforts to maintain perpetual inventory integrity with a 99 % level of record accuracy.
Assist with updating of planning parameters for inventory procurement and replenishment.
Support branch efforts to ensure that perpetual inventory levels are in adequate supply to support warehouse and truck stock.
Responsible for day-to-day branch purchasing and inventory clerical activities.-Maintain adequate rapport with service and installation operations, as well as support functions.
Assist with resolution of all purchasing discrepancies resulting from conflicts with price, quality, terms and conditions, warranty, and supplier receipts.
Assist with the processing of documentation for local procurement contracts, branch services and operations.
Assist Buyer Planer in sourcing of standard and non-standard parts to support regional operations, as required.
Assist with posting job cost in the Branch Service System (BSS), Service and Installation Operations.
Maintain a neat, safe and organized warehouse and deliver equipment & supplies when needed.
Provide requisition reports for review by Buyers and other branch personnel.
Assist with periodic cycle counts for warehouse, truck, consignment, and customer stock.



Qualifications :

Valid Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and highly motivated•
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Lotus Notes and Access experience desired.
Minimum of one to two years of purchasing and inventory management experience desired.
Ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuous learning through cross-training.
