Legrand North America has an opportunity for an experienced Web developer to develop data-driven web applications for websites, and develop enterprise applications. The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years experience using ASP.Net, VB.net, and Visual Basic 6, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with development using relational databases including Microsoft SQLServer and Oracle.
- Developing data manipulation code using Microsoft T-SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with using the .Net Framework and Ajax.
- Training and experience in using a Software Development Life Cycle and structured methodologies.
- Experience working with business users and IT staff to develop and document requirements and develop prototypes.

The position has a scope of work that requires:
- Analysis, documentation, and development of new features and applications as needed by the business.
- Support of existing website changes and modifications.
- Working within corporate web, data, development standards, and guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Daily collaboration with, and mentoring of, other members of the Web Development team.
- Consulting with business customers to ensure alignment of projects and development efforts with business needs and strategy goals.
- Continuous evolution of developer and data skills.
This position reports to the Legrand North America Director of Web Development.

- C# experience is a plus.
- ColdFusion experience is a plus.
- Experience working with data from Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus.
- Electronic Data Interchange experience is a plus.
