Exterran is seeking Welder Entry for our Columbus, TX location.

 

Primary Responsibilities and AssignmentsUses metal core, mig or stick welding process. Makes quality U.T. welds. Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude.


Education and Certification

Required:High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years welding experience.

 

Specific Work Background/Experience

Required: Must pass 1G test. Able to use measuring instruments & hand tools. Must have own welding hood, chipping hammer, and wire cutting pliers. Valid Drivers License. Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English. 

 

Special Requirements/Additional Comments

Required:Standard requirements.  Bending, squatting, climbing, twisting and reaching will all be used occasionally in this position. Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
