YEARBOOK SALES Salespeople, yearbook advisers, educators, and journalists:  this is the career for you! Join Herff Jones Yearbooks and help students make their school memories last a lifetime.  Our Sales Professionals visit school principals, yearbook advisers and their staffs to assist in all aspects of yearbook production:  desktop publishing, photography, writing, page layout, marketing and sales.  As an independent contractor, you will manage your business from a home office and visit public, private and parochial schools in your assigned territory each day.  Successful Sales Professionals will generate profitable sales growth by establishing relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and then winning their business by demonstrating Herff Jones’ superior quality, products and services.  Earning potential is unlimited and a draw account against commissions assures a consistent income throughout the year. The ideal candidate should have a four-year college degree, dependable transportation, and good credit history, and provide suitable space for an office.  Attendance at company-sponsored sales and training meetings is expected. While comprehensive training is provided for professional selling and presentations skills, desktop publishing, and small business management, successful candidates will have demonstrated strength in these skill sets.
