Coordinator - Program and Communication
Job Summary:
Under the authority of the Manager of Program Development and Communications, the Communications Coordinator fulfills a pivotal role in the department serving as an ambassador and representative within the team and with key dealer and OEM customers. This person will be in close communications with the Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and District Sales Managers (DSMs) on the development and implementation of special communications, RPM magazine, special projects and national and regional promotions.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, coordinate, and publish RPM, the quarterly Evinrude and Johnson Dealer Magazine.
· Work with BRP's management team, sales team, dealers and OEMs to collect story concepts and testimonials for RPM
· Negotiate and review cost of contracts and/or agreements with suppliers/vendors for printing and publishing various communication pieces and/or programs.
· Maintain tight control over budgets for key communication pieces and actively participate in budget forecasting and accruals.
· Create and mange the approval process for purchase orders.
· Create program bulletins and promotional communication messages.
· Develop and administer Engine Sales Programs.
· Coordinate dealer and OEM resign processes and orchestrate the distribution/ communication plan for all resign efforts.
· Work with respective departments to ensure that program pricing and adjustments are properly reflected in the system.
· Work with the reporting and planning team to ensure that the proper tools for program analysis throughout and at the conclusion of a program are developed and implemented.
· Monitor and report on current sales program costs and volumes verses planned amounts.
· Interact directly with outside vendors to ensure a successful execution of sales programs when applicable.
· Provide recommendations of seasonal programs based on latest industry information and analysis of past programs.
· Develop creative business solutions.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and professional expertise
· Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
· 3 – 5 years applicable experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ease with numbers, cost analysis and projections
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office including above average skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Ability to excel in simultaneous management of multiple projects
· Ability to manage tight deadlines
· Ability to work in a sales and marketing environment
