Manufacturing Engineer: Industry Leader Seeks Process Expert

We have an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer at our Jeffersonville, IN manufacturing facility (JeffBoat).  This process expert will serve as technical counsel assisting manufacturing operations, design engineering and maintenance and will be responsible for process definition and performance improvements. Principal Responsibilities: Analyze current processes; recommend modifications; implement process improvements Document process capacity and capability; define parameters for optimum performance Champion problem-solving efforts from definition through resolution and implementation stage Direct capital improvement initiativesThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3-5 years of production/process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.  This position requires excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills (fluency in Spanish a plus), strong problem definition/solving skills and a thorough understanding of process/part variation and capability.  This task oriented expert will have an understanding of lean concepts and a working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point software.  Occasional travel may be required.
