For more information, go to www.brunswick.com/boats.html BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTResponsible for engineering related tasks in product development and product support.GENERAL DUTIES' Perform conceptual design, tooling engineering, structural design, and all necessary calculations for each project. Develop all parts and material specifications.' Coordinate integration of systems and components, and assist the project manager develop and maintain the project schedule. ' Act as primary contact person for technical issues during prototype development and manufacturing.' Provide BOM information and all engineering documentation prior to release.' Perform value analysis for each product assignment.' Evaluate and approve engineering change notices EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline. One to three years product development, engineering or industrial design experience. Minimum one year manufacturing experience and/or knowledge. Must be proficient with CAD software; Unigraphics software is preferred. PC proficiency with solid working knowledge of Windows 2000, MS Office software, Lotus Notes or similar groupware and web-based applications. Boating experience or knowledge preferred. Must have well developed communication, organization, and sound judgment skills. Must be self-motivated and a motivator of others. Demonstrated project management skills a plus. Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion to complete the job. RESPOND HERE!
