(MRINetwork) is the world's largest executive search and recruitment organization with a global network of more than 1,100 offices and 4,500 recruiting professionals.  Founded in 1966 and consisting of five offices across New England, The Boston Group is MRI’s oldest, largest, and most highly acclaimed member. Company Information: The Client is a dynamic, global manufacturer exhibiting dramatic growth through the use of state of the art technology in the production of consumer marine electronics.  They provide challenge, growth, a new facility, top-notch management and contemporaries, full boat benefits including a unique 401K plan, and an occasional trip to Europe! Job Description: The position entails the following functions and responsibilities: Creation of US Demand Forecast, utilizing Demand Solutions Software Tool to convert demand history, sales/marketing intelligence and product life-cycle knowledge Publish Demand Forecast in agreed format and liaison with Sales/GPM’s/Logistics to produce agreed Final Demand Forecast considering promotions, new products, customer changes etc. Management of regional Demand Forecast Analysts ensuring consistent processes are adhered to Hold monthly Demand Forecast meetings to review final Demand Forecast to ensure buy-in from key management, adjusting to an achievable re-plan if necessary Set-up a process to monitor and track changes to Demand Forecast, and report impact on Financial Forecast and Inventory Planning Co-ordination and analysis of market intelligence, product information, and sales data received from Sales/GPM’s/Customers ensuring viability and consider in forecast production Set-up and report on Forecast Accuracy ensuring within agreed target level and develop strategies for improvement Liaison with Key customers to obtain their demand information and set up a process to integrate into our forecast process Set up, report and manage agreed measurement reports for Sales/Marketing/Forecast Liaison with GPM’s on new product introduction to ensure forecastJob Requirements: Job Requirements: A four-year degree in quantitative business area, with an MBA preferred 5-plus years forecasting Extensive PC experience Strong supervisory skills Organized and documented procedures for a Forecasting group Possess extensive knowledge of PC-based forecasting systems and database programs Experience with syndicated data for CPG Company is highly desirable Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to adapt to a quick changing environment and conflicting priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, selling/negotiation skills required for dealing with all levels of management APICS/Forecasting certification a plus Qualified candidates please submit your resume as an MS Word attachment to Mike Bacon at mbacon@mri-boston.com .  Due to the large volume of resumes received, only candidates meeting requirements will be contacted.
