Statistical Analyst Position

PPQ team communication of product issues. Identify trends, assess risks, and determine rates of potential warranty exposure. Perform correlation studies of current product performance to determine recommendations for validation and testing of future products. Develop additional methods to predict warranty costs over the "end of life" of the product. Format data to be easily understood to all areas of BRP including Engineering, Production and Management.  Track and document product issues and resolutions in a database for easy future reference.  Maintain open communications on issues with all areas of BRP including Engineering, Dealer Support, Production, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) and Procurement.  Supply approved information/report requests as needed to BRP management.  Calculate and present total cost on proposed field campaign/recalls.EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREDBachelors Degree with mechanical and statistical mathematics background. 3-5 years related work experience.Proficient in Excel and Access, Word, Power point, Minitab.Must have Weibull analysis knowledge and experience.Strong statistical skills, demonstrated verbal, writing and presentation skills.Experience in analyzing & quantifying data and preparing reports.Must be able to perform reliability studies, identify emerging issues, trends, and perform risk assessments.Must have mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.Must be self-directed and possess strong organizational skills.
