Account Service Rep - San Diego Company: Ascent Healthcare Solutions Location: san diego, CA Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Entry Level Education Level: Associate Degree Medical Device Reprocessing Sales/ServiceGrowing Company with Great Opportunities!! Ascent Healthcare Solutions has an immediate opening for an ACCOUNT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to be part of the Field Sales and Service Team.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY – To generate revenue thru the timely collection of used medical devices and the sale of reprocessed medical devices.  To accomplish this task, the ASR will spend 70% of their time traveling by car. The ASR promotes products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs. The Account Service Representative will generate revenue through the timely collection of used medical devices and the sale of reprocessed medical devices.  This sales role, under the supervision of the Regional Service Manager, strives to increase overall sales and service skills and abilities by participating in team meetings, training sessions, and business reviews. This position is actively involved in new customer product reprocessing orientation and in-service meetings. The representative acts as a resource to field sales team in identifying new opportunities, developing proposals and preparing presentations. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: You must have these basic requirements in order to be considered for this position· excellent organization, communication and negotiation skills; · high level of self – motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision· Service oriented – with strong customer service skills and the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.· A medical background is helpful but not required (LPN, CNA, Surgical Technician)· Follow instructions and be willing to work a flexible schedule.· Have reliable transportation, clean driving record and proper car insurance - 70% of your time is spent driving.· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). · Lift up to 30 pounds easily on a daily basis. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS· Associate Degree in Business or Medical Technology or closely related field· Outside sales/service experience· 1-2 years in a healthcare setting preferred  COMPENSATION & BENEFITS· Annual salary $35,000 (paid biweekly) · Annual Bonus potential of $15,000 (paid out monthly).· Mileage Reimbursement· Excellent benefit package· Advancement opportunities- At Ascent Healthcare Solutions, your hard work and dedication is rewarded. Email your resume in Word format to awilliams@ascenths.com  Only Selected Candidates will be contacted for an interview.  Ascent Healthcare Solutions offers a competitive salary and benefits package with Health, Dental, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Employer-Paid Life Insurance, 10 Paid Holidays, generous Personal and Vacation Time package and a fully-vested 401k plan with a 4% match.  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Send this Job to a Friend Ascent Healthcare Solutions is THE leading third-party reprocessor of single-use medical devices.
