Accounts Receivables Specialist (local candidates only)

We are Biotronik, Inc., part of the worldwide BIOTRONIK group, pioneer and innovator in the Cardiac Rhythm Management industry, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We now have an opportunity for an Accounts Receivables Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general A/R duties including posting ledger and general journal entries, and balancing accounts receivable records. You will input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. You will review and verify billing documentation; reconcile disputed pricing issues, long outstanding receivable balances, including active follow-up with customers through phone and written communication. You will also actively monitor and manage slow-paying and overdue accounts in order to reduce total A/R balance and aging of receivables.

 

The position requires Accounting degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of accounting policies, practices and systems, along with strong phone communication and conflict management skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel is necessary. Prior collection and credit experience and knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system are preferred.
