Job Description Application Chemist Triple Quadrupole GC/MS   To assure our worldwide support in sales of our Triple Quadrupole GC/MS products we are offering a new marketing position with emphasis on application.   Therefore we are looking with immediate effect for a      Triple Quadrupole GC/MS Application Chemist [m/f]   The selected candidate will be responsible for application development and the worldwide support of our international GC/MS sales organization     Key Duties and Responsibilities   · Develop applications for the key markets Food Safety, Clinical/Tox and Environmental · Serve globally as the liaison between customer, sales organization and factory · Demonstrate GC/MS instrument applications for customers with special emphasis on the application of triple quadrupole GC/MS for trace target compound analysis · Measure samples and generate result reports for potential customers · Support our sales representatives in scientific and applicative questions in local sales cases · Provide scientific after-sales-support for our customers · Provide application advise and develop analytical procedures · Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at exhibitions, seminars, symposia and trade shows · Present posters or orals at the above listed events · Create marketing collateral and scientific publications · Participate actively in new product development respectively further development of existing products or supplies · Intensive international travel       Qualifications (Education, Experience and Competencies):   · Academic education with diploma or PhD, or equivalent education · Experience in the practical application of GC/MS · Experience in sample handling and sample preparation · Willingness to goal oriented engagement within a highly motivated team · Readiness for world wide travel · Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks to completion · High degree of initiative · Excellent customer relation skills · Fluent in written and spoken English, additional language skills welcome   Education: Doctorate Job Level: Experienced
