Your ability to quickly and accurately assemble small parts will be the key to success in this role. Surgical robotics was little more than a medical curiosity until 1999, the year Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISRG) introduced the da Vinci Surgical System. As our Assembly Technician, working with our instruments or systems team production line, you will be responsible for the intricate assembly of our da Vinci Surgical devices. Your experience working in an assembly line environment will aide you as you work as part of a team toward daily production goals. Past experience working with your hands, putting together small scale parts with speed and dexterity will ensure your success in this fast paced environment. For the mechanically advanced, with prior experience in the robotics or automotive industry, you will have the opportunity to work on our systems team, dealing with more complex cabling and assembly of the larger surgical systems.
