Assistant Counsel, Americas

Job Summary – This position will be responsible for drafting and negotiating various business agreements, including contracts between Zimmer and health care professionals. The attorney will also be responsible for providing legal counsel to Zimmer business units on a variety of transactional issues, and for reviewing promotional literature to address any legal issues raised by the literature. General Functions – Attend to the drafting and negotiation of business agreements as well as research, consultant, and development contracts with health care professionals. Field and answer questions from Zimmer business units concerning transactional issues, compliance implications and other legal topics. Work with senior in-house attorneys to proactively identify and address key legal issues for Zimmer management.
