We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to become the newest member of the Marketing Team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters.  Under the supervision of the Creative Director, the successful candidate will help manage marketing-related creative projects, mentor and manage more junior staff, and facilitate creative development and production of all marketing-related materials.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· As assigned by Creative Director, helps facilitate the creation of marketing-related programs for corporate and product brands, including ads, direct mail, sales collateral, Web content, corporate events, etc.

· Assists in the development of branding for new products, including naming, positioning, graphics, and related brand elements.

· As assigned, conceptualizes, designs and facilitates the development of creative materials.  This may be via creative staff or by hands-on development, as needed.

· Under the supervision of the Creative Director, helps manage the internal creative team, freelancers and outside vendors; serves as an interface with outside media/publication production.

· As assigned by Creative Director, initiates and manages working details of photo shoots, video production, and related projects.

· Collaborates with the Trade Show & Events team in the creation of relevant materials. May be asked to participate in trade shows, workshops and conferences, as needed and as an avenue to learn more about specific customer groups.

· Responsible for consistency with the company and brands graphics standards (including brand and trademark equity); responsible for maintaining the company/brand artwork archive.

· Supports development of Web site design, navigation, and content.

· Contributes to annual Marketing plan.

· Works with the Brand/Product team to develop/produce in-service materials, including technical manuals – both hard copy and online.

· Assists in managing financial aspects of assigned projects through estimates, purchase orders, invoices and accounts payable.

 

Requirements:

 

· 5-8 years experience in creative design/development, and managing creative services

o  Minimum of 4 years of graphics and/or writing experience and

o  Minimum of 3 years in creative management.

· Degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, etc.

· Portfolio of writing samples, graphic design samples, ad campaigns, etc.

· Proven track record producing results-generating marketing materials; healthcare experience a plus.

· Clear expertise and knowledge of branding.  Global branding experience a plus.

· Proven ability to personally produce outstanding creative work for multiple projects and on deadline.

· Experienced in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop. Flash experience a plus.

· Strong technical understanding of the Web, Web development and design.  Experience designing a successful Website is a plus.

· Willingness to roll up sleeves and solve creative challenges on the fly.

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.  Proven experience in managing outside contractors, freelancers and agencies.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrated project management skills.

· May require 10-20% travel
