Currently, we are searching for an Associate Planner to join our Collegeville PA facility.

About the Opportunity:

The Associate Planner is responsible for determining the manufacturing and material resources including subcontractors and raw materials required to meet standard production schedules and/or customer orders.

The Associate Planner is responsible to: Coordinate the initiation and execution of plans to fulfill the requirements while optimizing cost effectiveness and customer service. Account for inventory levels and lot sizes through interpretation of company policies and procedures. Engaging in excellent communication skills required to interact with various key department supervisors and personnel. Accurate data input into the planning/manufacturing system and the resultant shop floor paperwork. Working with other associates to balance total demands for manufacturing with the available resources within the framework of scheduling policies. Managing VMI supply/demand and maintaining minimum stock levels. Work closely with Customer and Sales/Customer Solutions Team to gain insight to future demands and load ERP system accordingly with forecast to allow for proper capacity planning.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field, or a combination of experience, education and training equivalent to a four year degree in business. Three years working knowledge of ERP, with an understanding of Scheduling and Shop Floor Control. Understanding of Materials Management concepts including costing and related systems. Ability to establish good working relationships with all levels of personnel within the department, and with support departments such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Inspection and Shipping. Creative logical approach to problem solving and proven problem solving ability. APICS; CPM certification or other purchasing experience. Knowledge of the Company’s products, component parts and processing techniques necessary for understanding engineering changes and related impacts on the system and other areas. Previous experience in the Materials Management field.
