Job Description

 

As a CNC Machinist/Programmer you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

 Setting up, producing and inspecting machined components.Communicating effectively with production personnel, supervisors, engineers and inspectors to ensure quality devices.Meeting productivity targets.

Job Requirements



 

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

 A minimum of 5 years experience with setting up and programming CNC mills.Strong problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.Able to work with minimal supervision.Good working knowledge of inspection and the associated inspection tools.Good working knowledge of cutting tools and associate feeds/speeds.Good working knowledge of work holding.

The following skills are preferred:

 Computer knowledge.Some supervisory or shift lead experience.Manufacturing production background.Knowledge of Mastercam and/or Esprit CAD – CAM programming software.Company Benefits
