CNC Technician

Works closely with the associated manufacturing engineers and manufacturing personnel. Interfaces with all levels of engineering, maintenance, toolroom, quality, materials and other production area employees as needed. Works in a manufacturing environment. Works to close tolerances and involves close attention to detail to maintain appropriate production levels, quality standards and to work in a safe manner.

• Capable of setup and proof-out of a machining process incorporating the tooling, fixturing and programming
• Write CNC programs with use of custom macros on lathes and mills
• Ability to troubleshoot machining processes in a logical, structured fashion and implement solutions which eliminate the root cause of the problem
• Implementation of process improvement, such as improve speeds and feeds, adapt new tooling, reduce set up times, and improve cycle times
• Program and trouble shoot other non-CNC control systems (i.e. programmable logic controllers, personal computers, robot control, etc.)
• Interpret geometric designed and tolerance product drawings. Also must have in-depth understanding of the metric dimensional system.
• Interpret fixturing design concepts, including the ability to express and implement ideas with tool designers.
• Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.
• Perform other related duties as required.


• High school diploma and technical Associate degree or equivalent working experience.
• Direct experience or demonstrated knowledge of CNC programming/trouble shooting, preferably working with 300 series stainless steel and/or titanium.
• Possess the proper interpersonal skills to work in a team environment with machine operators, supervisors, designers, engineers and other technicians.
