Clinical Applications Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for ultrasound product software/system testing, clinical evaluations monitoring, product training, and customer/sales support. May assist in new product definition process.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:Support the development of product development activities, to include software system testing, evaluating ultrasound systems for image quality and usability; providing input on product manuals and promotional materials.Participate in and support the clinical evaluations of new product offerings.  Communicate clinical results to the cross-functional design team.Provide technical support and training to sales and field personnel.  Other duties as assigned, as required.

 

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Associates degree in related fieldMinimum two years clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound in hospital, clinic, private office or mobilePrior medical device industry experience a plus - in clinical sales applications, clinical optimization, or technical supportActive status in American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) for Ob/Gyn, Abdomen, Vascular, or CardiacAble to travel internationally up to 40%Excellent analytical, problem-solving skillsSelf-directed, with a desire to learn new skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communications skills
